| Crop Accounting Crop Accounting
provides an estimate, budget and costing tool for crop
enterprise management. Allows for up to four levels of cost
tracking with crop, field, expense and cost-type
definitions. The crop account mask can be set up to track 2,
3 or 4 levels of costs, depending upon the requirements of
the company.
Crop Accounting lets you test, analyze and adjust budgets
before final decisions are made. The program also provides
detailed reports of all crop related costs so management can
monitor a crop’s progress and budget for future production.
Features of Crop Accounting
- Allows the company to set up their own user defined
production units. Units can be defined by crop, lot,
field, acreage, physical location or any combination of
these parameters.
- Allows user to add new crops or new activities for
an existing crop at any time.
- Actual and budgeted expenses are tracked by the
defined production units. At any time a report can be
printed to track budgeted vs. actual expenses and other
pertinent yield information.
- System also includes a forecast demand scheduling
board which compares last year’s sales by day/week/month
to this year’s plantings and expected harvest dates and
amounts.
- Crop activities can be created and assigned to
crops, in easy to maintain browse windows as shown
above.
- System is fully integrated with Accounts Payable,
Accounts Receivable, Inventory Control, General Ledger,
Payroll, Visual Purchase Orders and Visual Sales Orders.
Expenses, sales, inventory adjustments and timecards are
all identified and distributed to production units at
the point of entry. Payroll timecards can also be
imported electronically.
- System can be modified to track any additional data
that company needs for recordkeeping purposes that is
not already pre-defined.
